WILDCATS FIGHT HUNTERS..r 'Attacked toy an Old Cat and Tl^jree YoungO|10#,Winsfced, Oct. 20.— The third annual bant of the Northwestern Connecticut Gun club closed yesterday. Twenty nimrode took part and bagged 8 partridges and quail, 40 coous, 21 skunks and 18 foxes. The team under Captain John Bnrr won the mafcoh, killing the most game.Last night the hunters were entertained at a big game supper at HarryClark’s New Hartford house. Three of them, Captain Burr, the most noted hunter in the state, William Green, Connecticut's best wing shot and George Eaton, are wearing bandages as the resnlt of a fight with wildcats An old cat and three young ones attacked the three hunters as they were climbing a ledge of rock. Green killed two, but not until after they had torn , bis left arm badly. Barr and Eaton were slightly hurt.
