limitTo The People In Purdin CommunityDuring the summer of 1973 the people of thePurdin Community will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the town’s founding.Plans are now under way foe the publication of a historical book which will relate in words and pictures the complete history of the town since its beginning hi 1873, as well as the history of individual organizations, churches, and families. The book is to be published by Walsworth Publishing of Mar~ celine and will be ready for delivery in June, 1973.All persons Interested in haying their family history published in this book are s|sked to submit information to VIRGINIA FALCONER by NOVEMBER 1, 1972. Each family willbe given approximately the same amount of space In the book. A picture, if desired, may be included in the alloted space. Writeups should be limited to 750 words if a picture is to be used or 1200 words, if no picture is desired.
