Purdue Homecoming Due Over Next Week EndLAFAYETTE — Purdue's Home-coming—complete with pep ralles, queens, gaily decorated houses and full of nostalgia for old grads—will take place over the coming weekend.Featured attraction will be thefootball game between the Botler-makerr and Michigan State In Ross-Ade Stadium.Alumni registration begins Friday afternoon at the Memorial Union Building and a full schedule of events will continue through Sunday morning. A tribute will be paid to 15 returning seniors from the “silver anniversary” 1940 football squad during the halftime ceremonies at the game and again at the annual alumni banquet Saturday evening.Purdue’s 1966 homecoming queen will be crowned by last year's queen during the halftime ceremonies.Entertainment Includes a Victory Varieties show, featuring John Gary, the Osmond Brothers, Louis Jordan Tymani Five, Roger Ray and the Frankie Masters orchestra,in the Hall of Music both Friday and Saturday nights. University Theater offers “The Visit”, starring Frances Farmer, with a university cast, in Loeb Playhouse.
