He and Guy Johnson,, W. W. Western and Riley Bales were widely known as the Purdin Male Quartet. When Mr. Bales was no longer able tosing Alex Murrain sang with theothera This quartet has served this community for more than thh*ty years, bringing joy and consolation as the occa-ion demanded.
