—An unusual birthday party was , given at the residence of Stanton | Lahr, near Brown’s Corners, on J Wednesday of last week. The af- 1 fair was a surprise, and the “un- ■ usual” part was that on that day j three persons celebrated the anni- 1 versary of their birth and at the j same place. What is more the af* fair was a surprise to all them. The j three honored were Stanton Lahr, ! Levi Overholtz and Mrs. Catharine 1 Brown, the two being brought to i Mr. Brown’s without a suspicion as ; to the guilty intent of their friends. : But the day was a most pleasant one in every respect, a granddin-ner was served and the occasion will long be remembered. This ; event celebrated the 52nd birthday of Mr. Lahr’s, the 48th of Mr. Over-holtz and the 74th for Mrs. Brown. May they all live to see many more. The Democrat extends thanks
