TAKE ME BACK — Bobby socks, pleated skirts and loafers were only a few of the yester-year items worn by A. L. Brown High School students Tuesday when they observed a 1950s day. Winners of prizes for best costumes are shown above with teachers Mrs. Edwin VanPoole. (second from left) and Mrs. Mark Andes, (extreme right). They are Mark Bostian, TerryGriffin, Keith Allison, Rosalind Morehead. More than 500 tickets were sold to the 50's dance Tuesday night, at which students and faculty danced to music popular in the 1950s. Brown was also host to Concord exchange students on Tuesday.
