Marvin W. EmigFuneral services were held Tuesday for Marvin W. Emig, 90. of 301 North William street, Thornton, who died Saturday at St. James hospital.The Rev. Gilford Larimer, pastor of Thornton Methodist church, conducted the services at Spindler - Koolling chapel. Burial was in Oak Lawn cemetery.¥Born May 30. 1874. in Flower* field. Mich . Mr. Emig hadlived in Thornton 50 vears He%operated a service station in the village for over 30 yearsSurvivors include one daughter. Mrs Kennetha Love of Glenview; a son. Shirley of Thornton, one brother Hurley of Flowerfield. Mich . and three grandchildren.Mr Emig was preceded indeath hv his wife, Mable, a%brother and a sister.
