W. S. C. S. MeetingThe 'Women’s Society of Christian Service met in regular session at the Methodist church, Oct. 7. Twenty-three members and two guests were present.Mrs. Maude Richards led the devotions. The lesson entitled, “The Rural Mission of the Church”, was in charge of Mrs. Marian Adams.The W. S. C. S. Circles served dinner to the -Fayette County Schoolmaster’s Club, Oct. 8. The annual Harvest Home dinner and sale were announced for Oct. 22.IMrs. 'Pearl Roberts conducted the dedication service for the treasure chest project.The Week of Prayer and Self Denial will be Oct. 25 to 31. A meeting will be held ^t the church Oct. 28, in observance of this service.The Adah Circle served lunch.
