Towers talk • Towers talkThe following ladies went on a chartered bus trip Wednesday to Nashville, Ind.: Mary Harris,Eula Williams, Catherine Phillips, Ruth Gooch, Ethel Zimmerman, Helen Hunter and Alberta Harpold.Our monthly dinner was held Friday, Oct. 7. A large crowd was present. Three birthdays were remembered and three groups from the First Christian Church and the minister Glen Liston furnished our entertainment. It was enjoyed by all present.Mrs. Alberta Harpold has returned from a business trip toChicago, 111. She also visited her daughter, Mrs. Dennis Smith.Mrs. Mary Jeffries of Hymera was a guest of her sister, Hazel Ooley, and a friend, Mamie Runyon, Monday.Thelma Cooper was here to see her mother, Crystal Van Durmen. Crystal was injured one day last week when a driver hit her in the Red and White parking lot.Mrs. Rhonda Campbell was the guest of Dorothy Dressier Wednesday.Mrs. Ada Downing was the guest of Flora Tiffee and Bessie Carpenter Sunday.
