This concert will be presented on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Litchfield Junior High School, beginning at 8:15 p.m.The Mimura Harp Orchestra is a group of twenty-one gifted, young musicians. Their repertoire arranged for the unusual combination of Irish and grand harp embraces the classical music of Handel and Mozart; contemporary harp music, and traditional melodies adapted from Japan’s rich heritage. The orchestra is touring the U.S. and Canada under the patronage of the Japanese Ministry of Culture and Foreign Affairs.
