#Guys And Dolls* Final RehearsalsNowThe Actors p r o d u c tion of “Guys And Dolls,” the initial community theater production of the season, is in the final stages of preparation for its debut on Oct. 28 at MarysvilleUnion High School, according to Director Edward Ivory.Ivory said today the cast and crew is ready for the last part of the pre-production schedule which will involve some activity on behalf of the show ev-%/erv night between now and theopening.The cast is headed by Marlene Bresnahan as Miss Adelaide, an aging chorine from the Hot Box night club and Joyce Norbeck as Miss Sarah Brown of the Save - A - Soul Mission. Playing the male leads will be A1 Fisher as Sky Masterson, the highest - rolling gambler of them all and Jack Patalano as Nathan Detroit, the operator of the oldest established permanent floating crap game in NewYork.A group of gamblers support the action of the musical and these will be played by George Norbeck as Nicely-Nicely Johnson, Harry Kraft as Benny South street, David Dews as Harry the Horse, Ron Reyes as Scranton Slim, Jose Vargas asSociety Max and Ray Sorum as tire menacing and stupid B i gJule from Chicago.Jerry Notestine is playing Ar-vide Abernathy, the grandfather of Sarah Brown and Shirley Runyon takes the part of Gen. Matilda B. Cartwright, thehead of the mission. The others in the mission group are played by Jov Redmon and Judv Loke.Steve Couts is playing the role of Lt. Brannigan of the New York Police Department. The dancers under the directionof Jacqueline Highfill, includeSharon Fisher, Bettv Menden-hall, Nancv Norris, Marv Ra-% *kela, La Troy Scott and Shirley Sargent, with Bob H u bbard,Harrv Shannon, Richard Souza%■and George Rasul in the maleroles.Included in the bit parts are Pat McCree, John McCree, John Stein, Nancy Stein, Tom Head, Scott Allen, Shirlv Jacobs and Patricia Harris, Anne Greene, Allen Saterback and Shirley Ka-nada.The play has already been inproduction for six weeks and is scheduled to run six nights,Oct. 28, 29, and 30 and Nov. 4, 5 and 6. The newly repainted auditorium at Marysville Union High School is the location for each performance with t h ecurtain going up at 8:30 o’clock each night. Patron and season tickets are still available from any member of the cast.
