Georgetown Knlghta of PythlM.Cooper Lodge, No. 285, Knight* of Pythian, of Georgetown, Floyd county, have removed into a new and nicely arranged hall, which wan built by the Borkhardt Brothers, of that place. Cooper lodge Invited the Knights of Pythian of this city to visit them and assist in dedicating the new quarters on Friday and Saturday nights last. About twenty | members of the order in this city went ' to Georgetown in one of Gwin’s four* ! horse wagons. A good time was had, and the Georgetown nights profited considerable by the presence of New Albany people. There was good singing and plenty to eat for thoee who had the finances wherewith to purchase the same. The must remarkable thing seen was the ripe strawberries—the second growth— which were elegant and tasted as natural as thoee grown in the spring of the year. They were grown on the farm of Mr. John fiaytor, a short distance beyond Georgetown. Cooper lodge was instituted in December of last year and is in a prosperous condition at the present time. It was named in honor of Capt. H. M. Cooper, of thle city, who instituted thelodge. Many of the ladles, young andold, ef Georgetown township, graced the occasion by their preeenoe. Music, roiith, beauty and gallantry were the chief features of this most pleasant festival.
