Montana State plans homecomingBOZEMAN — Homecoming featuring dancing to live at Montana State University music.Oct. 20-21 will feature two The Saturday concert begins concerts with nine big name at 8 in the Fieldhouse and entertainers, a football clash features Jacki DeShannon, El with Boise State and a host of Chicano, Spirit and Canned other activities. Heat.Registration begins Friday, Oct. 20. in the Baxter Hotel from noon to 7 p.m. and continues the next day from 8 to noon. Registration also will be Saturday, Oct. 21, in the Student Union Building from 9 a.m. to noon.Pre-homecoming activities include voting by the student body on queen candidates Linda Phillipe. Lewistown; Kathy I^aird, Great Falls, and Debbie Thaut, Columbus. The queen will be crowned at talent night Thursday, Oct. 19. in the SUB.The first concert Friday at 7 p.m. features Jonathan Round, Albert King, David Frye, and Harvey Mandel Group and Wishbone Ash.The Booster breakfast is Saturday, in the Baxter Hotel at 7 a.m. It features football coaches Sonny Holland, MSU and Tony Knap, Boise State.A parade begins at 10 a.m. in downtown Bozeman.The alumni reunion luncheon is at noon in the SUB. Football action begins at 2 p.m. All campus living groups will have open house from 4 to 6.A reunion dinner for the class of 1947 begins at 6:30 in the Holiday Inn. The Bobcat I^air is at 7 p.m. in the Baxter HotelFlags out on MondayMayor Mike Micone Wednesday asked all residents to display American flags next Monday in tribute to the 1,791 military and civilian persons held prisoner of war or missing in Southeast Asia action.The number includes 12 from Montana, including Bob Holton of Butte. It was seven years ago Oct. 16 that the first Montanan was listed as a prisoner, so Mondav will be Montana POW-MIA Day.Attendance down at WMCDIIi/)N - Fall quarter enrollment at Western Montana College reflects a declining nationwide trend, school officials reported this week.Registrar Paul Picton listed the WMC sign-up at 842, a drop from the 959 recorded one year ago.
