t-Mabscott Girl Pictured In 'Screen Album'The daughter of a Mabecott couple has splashed into print in the January copy of “Screen Album.’*Ann Wisen, 18-year-oM daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wisen, is claimed by the publication to have been the cause of the “bust-up” of the wedding plans of Troy Donahue and Lili Kardell.HER PARENTS today said that Ann quit her Woodrow Wilson High School studies in the 10th grade, when she was 16.On Easter Sunday of this year she went to Florida, where she obtained work as a receptionist at a Miami Beach hotel. It was there where she met the television star of “Surfside 6” while he was on location. The national publication claims Miss Wisen as a “local girl” — meaning Miami—but her parents are explaining that as being due to the fact she was working there at the time the pictures were taken.WHILE DONAHUE was on location in Miami his fiancee claims she went to his apartment“to get my dog and I caught him with another girl. I slapped Troy several times and then he started to knock me around. He knocked me down. I have a black eye and other injuries.”Donahue's version was that “Lili came into the apartment and started yelling. I wasn’t with another girl. My grandmother was there. So was a former roommate from school. The only other woman was a married friend from New York. I don’t see how Lili could be hurt very much because I took most of the punishment. AH I know Is that we are split up, temporarily at least.”MISS KARDELL'S last word:“I’m through. I’ve had It. I hope(I never see Troy Donahue again.” The magazine carries two pictures of Donahue with Miss Wisen with the following caption: “It wasn’t all work for Troy on loca-gjtion trip to Miami. When Lili r1 didn’t visit, he found a pretty beach playmate in local girl Ann Wisen. Just fun—but maybe Lili couldn’t see it.”Over the pictures of the couple emerging from the ocean, holding hands, and again seated side by side was the question: “Did this make Lili steam, Troy?”MRS. WISEN reported today that Ann left Florida in July to accept work in Maryland. In a telephone conversation with a Beekley friend Tuesday night. Miss Wisen sent word to her family that she was leaving Maryland today for New York City for auditions. She also indicated she expects to join the company of a television show Dec. 1 as a permanent member.Ann was bom in North Carolina and her family has lived in this area about 10 years. Her father ’works in the mine at East Gulf and also has a house coal mine.
