Dillman was in the chair, and most of the townships were represented. After a full discussion of the matter, it was decided to hold township meetings, under the supervision of the township vice president as follows:# • • « %Connersville township, W. T. Murray, vice president, at Auditor’s office, Friday, October 15, at 2 p m.Harrison, D. Kerschner, at Harrisburg, Thursday, October 14, at 7 p. in.Orange, R. Tyner, at Fayetteville, Friday, October 15, at 7 p. rn.Fairview, John W*. Hackleman, at Fairview, Friday, October 15, at 7p. m.Jackson, Hezekiah Grubb, at Ever-ton, Saturday, October 16, at 7 p. in.Posey, F. Y. Thomas, at Benton-ville, Saturday, October 16, at 7 p. m.Jennings, Frank Bruner, at Al-quiua, Thursday, October 14, at 7p. m.H, L. Hurst, vice president from Waterloo township, promised a report by next Saturday, and a committee, consisting of W. T. Murray, Ed Stone and Oliver Handley was appointed to confer with the Columbia township association.The citizens generally of the townships are expected to attend these meetings.Governor Mount was invited to be, present and address the meeting at some future date.
