Italso houses the shelter’s store.High school students set up the library in April under the auspices of Leadership Bay. The books and computers now have a home in the lounge of the men’s dorm, a larger room with a couch, TV and windows.Once completed, the men’s dorm will accommodate about 15 * men. separate from the mission’s -main housing quarters. Men in • the dorm will be in the mission’s .TheredormThe projected cost for the men’s dorm is about $104,(XX).Major work includes tearingdown walls and installing toiletsand showers.‘The plumbing is going to bethe most expensive part of the job, Chambers said, adding that. he hopes to get in-kind donations of materials and labor.
