A local band, “Dixie Bleu, will leave next Tuesday for a six-week tour of mid western and western states. The first stop will be in Grand Island.Neb.The group, organized early In January, has been performing locally and in the four-state area in preparation for the tour, conducted by American Music Enterprises of Denver.The band members are Gray Griffin, guitar and vocalist; David Starr, drums and vocal 1st; Ross Hawkins, bass and vocalist; Jeff Green, guitar and vocalist; and David Ervin, key boards.Following the performance in Grand Island they will continue west to Cheyenne, Wyo, with stops in Grand Junction and l)enver, Colo and Oklahoma City. The band plans to return to Fayetteville for engagementshere during the holiday season.
