Race Feeling at Carlisle.Carlisle, Ind., Oct. 10—The feeling against negroes in Carlisle, which was demonstrated a short time ago whena mob attacked the colored families living here and drove them out of town, broko out again Saturday, when the home of William Butler was bombarded. Windows in Butler’s house were demolished by rocks hurled by the mob and other negroes who had been permitted to remain in the town were also attacked in the street by boys. The town is excited over the ; attack upon the negroes, and sentiment among the better class of people is against the action. I
