HOOT GIBSON RODEOAT TEXAS STATE FAIRDallas, Sept. 28.—Including a string 0f ninety bucking horses, said to be the best rodeo broncs in America, livestock for the Hoot Gibson Rodeo which will be a 16-day feature of the State Fair of Texas, arrived here Monday, and arriving at the same time by auto was Skeeter Bill Robbins, arena director for the popular moving picture actor-cow-boy. Gibson will use more than 500 head of livestock in his production of the championship contest at the State Fair.Robbins, Cactus Mack, Ed Bowman, Tillie Bowman, Vera McGinnis and other rodeo cont st nts arrived in Dallas Sunday and willbe here through the 16 day event.The contestants arrived hereahead of the livestock and were on hand at the unloading. All of the livestock which arrived Monday came from Gibson’s Golden State Ranch in California, where the moving picture actor stages a rodeo £ach year.Much of the livestock which will be used in the Hoot Gibson Rodeo will be purchased from Texas ranges, it was announced by Robbins. Steers, roping calves and other animals will be purchased and corralled on the fair grounds immediately’.Gib30n is offering larger priz * money than ever in his 16 day contest.
