The Hunter trial Is hanging fire at Akron and is becoming a squabble of legal talent. The witnesses for the state feel that they have been bandied about so much that they have;'gotten their dander up'aad are :.v determined to “fight it out cn . tliik .dine' takes all summer,” and ^he, state's attorneys are likewise in earnest.The trial is attracting an attendance of curious ones and is a source of interest to Akronites as well as some from Rochester who are not among the witnesses. At the opening of the trial, before a goodly crowd, W. A. Hoawrd was the first witness for the state, who testified that himself and family had been disturbed, at night by men hunting the Hunter habitation.John E. Chamberlain, for the state, on being called to the stand, stated r^that he had seen Chas. Morr ingstar and Ben Livesay going there at different times.Mrs.. Chamberlain testified that she had seen George Mitchell, A. J. Barrett, Ben Noftsger, Lou Kistler andt 0Dick Stein going there and that she seen Kistler taking Opal Hunter buggy riding. nMrs. F. J.
