STATE POLITICS.Judge Karel Ccmmands Admiration.Jud?e John C. Karel has won as signally In the Democratic platform convention as he did. In the party primaries. By a two thirds majority the p atfonn convention, made up of the candidates on the state and legislative tickets, has adopted, his v'ew on the income tax and these views therefore become officially the programme of the Democratic party, which if placed in power in November, is pledged to an immediate re-peal of the income tax law.
