Paper Moon, the movie starring Ryan O'Neal and his daughter, Tatum, being filmed In the Hays area, Is of particular Interest to 4 Salina and area residents.The filming afforded Mr, and Mrs, C. J, Pearce, 842 Sunrise Drive, and Mrs. Pearce's sister and brother-in-law, Mr, and Mrs. Elmer Seitz. MorganviUe, a reunion with Mr, and Mrs. Ray Klein, North .Hollywood, Calif., in Hays.Mrs. Klein, a niece of Mrs. Pearce and Mrs, Seitz, is an extra for the movie. Her mother, the late Mrs. Edward Pcgar, was born in MorganviUe,Klein, who creates props and special equipment for Paramount Studios, is working behind the scenes on Paper Moon” to be released by Paramount.The Kansans were shown around various movie locations.Mr. and Mrs. Pearce hadn’t seen the Kleins for many years, while Mr. and Mrs. Seitz visited with the Californians about a year ago.The 2 Kansas couples have been invited back to Hays this weekend for an informal party with the Kleins and other movie people.
