Sighting the car, they drew up along side of Tossev’s car and motioned him to stop. He stopped and when OfficerWilliam VonDielingen was standingbetween the police car and Tosseys, talking to the latter, Tossey is alleged to have started his car suddenly, causing the police officer to stumble and strike his left arm heavily on the machine. It was first thought that it had been broken,but examination by a physician revealed that it was badly sprained and bruised.
