Well, let them laugh while they may. Some two years ago a gentleman in a neghboring county recovered several hundred dollars from a “loyal” chap who had denouncod him as a “traitor—the jury being composed, by agreement, of half Republicans and half Democrats. A few we^ks ago Andrew Humphreys recovered $25,000 of the parties who had illegally arrested him, and other parties have also recovered heavy damages—the juries in every case being composed of men of both parties.
