BUTTE WOMANON OFFICIAL NATIONWIDE TOURMan 52, “ ofmill uiPiTTfinnv Committed to on OivnWILL VlblI lUUAl Request to Butte OfficersSupreme Queen of Daughters of Nile Will Be Gone Several Months.Leaving Butte last night aboard the Milwaukee’s fast train, the Olympian, Mrs. Laura McGregor of Butte, supreme queen of the supreme temple, Daughters of the Nile, started upon a journey which will take her to all the principal cities of the United i States before her return home just ! before Christmas day.Mrs. McGregor was elected to the ! highest position of the order at the convention of the supreme temple, held in Los Angeles last May, and the purpose of her nationwide tour is to pay official visits to the local organizations in the leading cities of the country.Mrs. McGregor’s first stop will be made at Aberdeen, S. D., and from that city she will go to Sioux City, Des Moines, and from there to St. Louis. From there she will go east, stopping at all principal cities en route to New York, and from that point will turn south and return to the West over the southern routes.MRS. B. Hopkins. Sam R. White, Arthur Perham, of Butte; Thomas A. Godby and W. E. Miller, 52, a cook, walked into the county attorney’s office yesterday and asked to be committed to the state hospital for a narcotic cure. Miller was given a hearing before Judge Jeremiah J. Lynch 10 minutes later and committed “until cured.” Two hours later he was on his way to Warm Springs for what he termed a 90-day vaca-ation.Miller has been a morphineOalanthe lodges and visiting Pythians from Anaconda and Deer Lodge.
