Mrs. Allan Bridges, formerly f Birtle and now residing in Balfouria Apts, in Winnipeg, re-eently recieved a letter from Henrietta Palmer, lady-in-waiting to Princess Elizabeth. Mrs. Bridges had written telling how her father had been head piper to (,neen Victoria at Balmoral Castle. The reply expressed interest in the forthcoming trip to Canada and best wishes to Mrs Bridges.
