The annual reunion of the Shnwal-ter family was held Sunday at the home of Mrs. Flora Lewis, of Freeport, also the home of Mrs. Mary Shawaiter. By noon a large crowd of relatives had gathered with well filled baskets. A table was soon spread, which fairly groaned beneath Its . weight. There was an adundanee of everything to which all present did ample justice. The afternoon wasspent in social conversation, boat rid-*ing and singing. Smoking was also enjoyed by the men present. All of the family were present except Clifton Sho waiter, of Indianapolis, and A. B. St. Clair and family, of M aloft Park, Mrs. St. Clair was unable to be present on account of sickness. Those present were G. \V. Sbowalter and family. W. P. Showalter ami family, of Acton, Indiana. W. W. Rigdon and family, Claud Rigdon and family, of Greenfield, J. H. Sbowalter and family, of Hord: C. B. Sbowalter and family, of Indianapolis; Marion Abernathy, of Morristown; Purley Miller and family.* C. R. Miller and family, and J. A. Drake and family. About forty-three people were present, five children, twenty-one grand children and three great gTand children. The reunion was to have been held at Purley Miller’s home, hut on account of Mrs. Mary Showalter’s feebleness it was held at Mrs. Lewis’ home. After singing that beautiful hymn, “God be with you till we meet ngainA each departed for his home. The next reunion will be held at the home of G. W.
