Porter Sons was rebuilt and y modernized about 10 years ago. | o | It has been sold to Victor R.Means Sr. The front 50x55 feet, d I Mr. Means says, will be operated0 as a feed and seed store by Clyde t- Owens. The back part of the J building, 50x85 feet, will be used s for lumber storage by Woodall d | Manufacturing Co.Bowles Farm Supply. Bowles Farm Supply, with Tom ■, a Bowles Jr. as sole owner, is the1 successor to the old Belton Gin y Grain Co., which was formed r here in 1919. Tom Bowles Sr. ac-[. | quired an interest in that company |1in 1922, and in 1933 acquired full ownership, changing the name to | Tom Bowles Gin Grain Co. In I i 11946 Tom Bowles Jr. purchased all the interest of his father, and has since operated the business under the name of Bowles Farm Supply. The Bowles business has a na-11 tional distribution of wholesale | grain. Its retail grain business, absorbing that of Porter, will be expanded and continue to carry |! the Sunglo line, at the same Bow-! les location, 214 N.
