Swea City — Two northwestKossuth communities, Swea City and Seneca, will play host to a town and country quiz in the next few days., Swea City’s program on Dec. 8 is being sponsored by the Lionsclub. Seorekeepers will be Wayne Thompson and Mel Krumm, and there will be an hour’s musical program before the contest, to be held in the school gymnasium.WHO will make a radio'transcription of the show, and this will go over the air the following evening. .The country team includes Wallace Reynolds, John Nyman,, Mrs. Sheldon Merrill and • Mrs. Dettmer Thompson.Town opponents will be Bill Guyer, Robert Hohlin,• Mrs. J. A. Sanftner and Mrs. Peter Peters. Mrs. Ida Larson : and .Wilfred Carlson will give 40 second talks. 4,. Meanwhile, at 8 p. m, on Dec. 1, Wednesday, a similar WHO town and country quiz will be held atthe Seneca school Representing Seneca on the town team will be Mrs. Oma Huff Mangold of Armstrong, Mrs, Geo.Pallesen of Ringsted, ClarenceHendrickson of Bancroft and Roy Bravender. The country team is composed of Mrs, Carville Jensen, Mrs. Seena Looft, Verl Smith and James Dpocy, all of Seneca.
