This basement room has a large coal bin and also considerable storage space. This is the original basement room in the old building, and the concrete floor and walls are the same.In the front of the building on either side of the main entrance, which leads to the club quarters on the flint floor, are the entrances of the two apartments which are located on the second floor. Each apartment has a small pdrch in front of its own door, with tiled floor, and also an upper porch directly v over the lower porch. Prom the front door one enters a •mall entrance hall with stairs leading* up to the apartment. Each apartment has a living - room, dining room, kitchen, and two bedrooms with bath connecting. The woodwork ana walls except in the kitchen and both are tinted ivory, but the door panels are of naturally finished fir. Prom the living room of each apartment a door leads into a small hall which runs the length of the apartment, and all rooms open off this hull, so,that it is unnecessary to go through one room to get to another. In the kitchen the woodwork is painted a Dutch blue, and injthe bathrooms the woodwork is painted a light-green. Bathrooms have tile .floors and the walls are of Keene cement in tile - finish. Each bathroom has complete built-in fixtures, including a built - in medicine cabinet with mirror. One kitchen is equipped with electric refrigeration; the other was not so equipped at the request of the renter who has his own electric refrigerator. Each kitchen has an outside entrance by means of a stairway 011 the side of the building. Apartments have ample closet space, each having a convenient linen closet and large clothes closets in each bedroom. Each living room has an open fireplace.
