The Indian I s chief was there, and the harvest I was represented by a big pumpkin, I s and good pieces on Thanksgiving If rendered, and a good play by the j ] 7th grade was put on and was nice, j f A large crowd was out and enjoyed \ the program. Music was rendered j by the Nightingale and Mocking Bird, the Hibler (Twins, nd was j fine. We believe those two are J very good.Mrs. S. J. Bross and little Alice I Louise, Mrs. Farris’ little daughter, 1 came out for the Thanksgiving pro-1 gram. Everyone enjoyed the occa-1: sion. I!Sam Jones and wife and baby and i little daughter, Vernette, visited with us Friday evening. :Clayton Jones and wife and baby, I and Miss. Sammie Jones took Thanks-1 giving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. 1 Carl Snider on the Kirk ranch.Well, it isn’t news to us, but this ; Sunday -the rain is still falling.As to the place of the next News Correspondents' meeting, most any : place suits this writer.
