Since the publication of the article relative to Mrs. George Collier and children leaving Michigan City and a woman and four children being cared for by the police of Chicago it hasbeen ascertained that Mrs. Collier’snew lover, for whom she is said to have driven her husband from home, was named Frank Otto and that is the reason she told the Chicago authorities that she was Mrs. Frank Otto. Whether she has succeeded in locating him has not been learned, as the Chicago papers have had nothing further on the case. No effort will be made to bring them back as the authorities are only too glad to get rid of them. The parting of Mrs. Collier and Otto, when Supt. Weiler drove the latter from the Collier domicile last week and requested to take himself hence, was a most dramatic one. The woman threw her arms about the fellow's neck and fairly smothered him with kisses. When required to break away she threw herself upon the sand and 'wept and screamed hysterically. This attracted the attention of the neighborhood and was too much for the officer. who left the scene, saying he would # return with a wagon. This had the desired effect for Otto had disappeared when another officer reached the place a few minutes later. Presumably he went to Chicago and sent money for Mrs. Collier to follow, but he failed to meet her upon her ar rival and she and her children were cared for by the police.
