Girl ReservesA service of Thanksgiving was presented by the Girl Reserves at their regular meeting, Tuesday afternoon. Lucille Walline, president of the club, was in charge of the meeting. The following program was given:Song of Thanksgiving,______________Girl ReservesPrayer____________Laura BurkeScripture Reading, Lucille Walline Thanksgiving Poem, Leah ParkerVocal Duet Norma JohnsonMavis Hultquist Responsive Reading, “A Rejoicing in the Gifts of all Nations,” Lucille Walline and the Girl Reserves.Piano Solo Imo Jean Larson‘‘Hymn of the Lights,”______________Girl ReservesIn order that they may do their part in the 1936 Mobilization for Human Needs, the Girl Reserves are selling Christmas seals for the benefit of the National Tuberculosis Association-Reading Projects, that may be used in the rural schools, are being made by the senior reviews class this week. This will complete their work in reading. The next six weeks t.ney will devote their time to the study of penmanship.The normal training girls attended several Thanksgiving programs in rural schools of the county, this week.
