R. Buttruff of Freeborn and Mr. and Mrs. L C. Stens-rud and daughter Rosamund of Hartland after which the party enjoyed seeing Gold Diggers of Broadway.♦ ♦ ♦THE MISSES Esther, Blanche, and Ruth Knudson were joint hostesses at an informal party at their borne on Court street last evening.^Bridge furnished the entertainment for the evening and honors went to Miss Mayme May and Miss Lu-verner Yost Covers were laid for twelve.+ + +SIBILRUD-KRUEGER' Miss Dora Sibllrud of Hartland and Alvin Krueger of New Richland were married at High noon on Sunday Nov. 24th at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. A. H. Sibil-rud. Dinner was served to aboutthirty guests and in the afternoon excellent shorty talk.friends and relatives gave a shower for the young couple. Mr. and Mrs. Kreuger left for Minneapolis for a short wedding trip.tlan. Mrs. Enerson was also celebrating her birthday.♦ + *REV. NORMAN E. NYGAARD was host to the Men’s club of the First Presbyterian church last evening at the manse. A very pleasant social time was enjoyed and Her-vey McMillan and Albert Ruble gave Interesting reports of a recent church conference at Rochester. About 10 o'clock Mrs. Nygaardserved nice refreshments.» + ♦IN COMPLIMENT to the Rev. Dr. and Mrs. A. L. Murray and their daughter. Miss Margaret, of Minneapolis, the officers of the various organisations of Christ Episcopal church gave a delightful 1 o’clock luncheon yesterday afternoon, before they left for Iowa, where Dr. Murray is filling important speaking engagements. The or ganizations represented were the church school, the Altar guild, women’s auxiliary to the board of missions, committee tor the united thank offering, Christ church guild, St. Hilda’s guild, week-day religious training teachers, and the choir. Rodsater motored to Freeborn to Join a small group of close relatives for a celebration of the 85th birthday of her mother, Mrs. H. Stens-rud, one of the pioneers of this county. They had a very pleasant afternoon and Mrs. Stensrud was Very happy to be remembered.
