Thanksgiving Day WeddingMrs. William Nothan MatthewsMiss Carolyn Francos Hunt and William Nathan Matthews wore married Thanksgiving Day at throe o'clock in the afternoon.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ellis Hunt of jwork on her Ph. D. and at present i she is working on her dissertation.ho which is concerned with the studylie:i/.cs!;e-|he!at;a'lu-1;i\ial-Hon’IC;ii-inaatia.|aerof the Ionosphere.At present Miss Wollschciber is residing in the Women's Dorm, she tliinks the students in her classroom have been very understanding about her newness to this country—and her disuse of English. In fact she claims “everyone is so nice and helpful, that I really do enjoy being here, and the college is lovely.”Your reporters might add—that; if the students are nice to Missj Wollschciber, it is mainly due toj the kindness and patience she has demonstrated towards them. Wo all welcome her to our campus, and hope that she will remain with us a long time. Raye Stanton, pianist.The bride wore a street length; dress of while satin fashioned with] a round neckline, and a paneled j back with a satin bow at the; waist. Her veil was attached to a; lira of pearls and sequence, and; she carried a white Bible with a' white orchid.u On...A reception was held in the home following the ceremony.For traveling on their wedding trip the bride wore a green knit suit with a green hat and brown accessories, and the orchid from her Bible. They will make their home at 3(R Hamilton Street. Roa-noko Rapids.Both the bride and her husband are teachers. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Primary Education from East Carolina College in Greenville, and is teaching second grade in Rosemary School in Roanoke Rapids.Mr. Matthews also received his•Jm'Asw ki~ 7.WA* -a:’East Carolina College, and is In dustrial Arts instructor at Green ville County High School in Em poria, Virginia.
