Miss Carolyn Frances Hunt and filliam Nathan Matthews were tarried Thanksgiving Day at tiree o'clock in the afternoon.The bride is the daughter of Mr. nd Mrs. William Ellis Hunt ofork on her Ph. D. and at present i he is working on her dissertation-hich is concerned with the study1; f the Ionosphere.At present Miss Wollscheiber is esiding in the Women’s Dorm, he thinks the students in her lassroom have been very underroute 3. Rocky Mount, and Mr. Matthews is the son of Mr. and-Mrs. Nathan Matthews of Winfall. ‘The ceremony took place at the; home of the bridegroom’s parents, ficiating.landing about her newness toiis country—and her disuse of Inglish. The vows were spoken before a background of ferns, candelabra with lighted white candles, and an arrangement of white flowers. Music was presented by Mrs. Charles Smith, soloist, and Miss Janice Raye Stanton, pianist.The bride wore a street length dress of white satin fashioned with a round neckline, and a paneled back with a satin bow at tho waist. Her veil was attached to a lira of pearls and sequence, and she carried a white Bible with a white orchid.A reception was held i the home following the ceremony.For traveling on their wedding; On...trip the bride wore a green knit suit with a green hat and brown accessories, and the orchid from her Bible. They will make their home at 304 Hamilton Street. Roanoke Rapids.Both the bride and her husband are teachers. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Primary Education from East Carolina Collego in Greenville, and is teaching second grade in Rosemary School in Roanoke Rapids.Mr. Matthews also received hisEast Carolina College, and is Industrial Arts instructor at Greenville County High School in Emporia, Virginia.isMrs. William Nathan Matthews
