Dr. Jordan was summoned and started \\ itii tin* little fellow for Poole's Sanitarium at Port Clinton, hut weak from the loss of blood and unable to withstand the shock, thelittle fellow died eii route..Mike, athe child was known in the community in which he was brought up, was at the station just as the train was pulling out for Danbury. He mounted the front step of the caboose, intending to jump off as the* train passed the home ofhis parents. it so happened, however, that tin* speed at which tin* train ran was more than he had bargained for, and in trying 10 descend from the platform, he slipped andfell.The accident happened almost direct ly in front ot the Calouski home.
