Hew Lodging Hu«»e.Mr. Wm Eliot Hinith is now erecting a lodging house for a Uu-ge number of boys whom be bu secured from abroad, to work at the Ulaaa Work*. Such boy* an come here without their parents, will be given the privilege of lodging in the new house. It i« a two story fracue structure, In the same block at Mr. 8taith’a• PI y ^ ~ ~ •row of tenement* on Washington street, on the west side of the block. Many of the boys who have c »me to work here are fresh from their country homes,and are as yet free from the habiti and vices so largely indulged in by many of the youth of the city. Mr .Smith's thoughtfulness and generosity is seen in this move, and it ia boped that the benevolent will lend their assistance in saving these beysfrom early associations that are demoralising.
