CECILIA SOCIETYGIRLS’ ASSOCIATION HELD FIRSTMEETING.Miss Satie Brown Was Elected Presi* dent—Excellent Program WasGiven by Members.The girls of the St. Cecilia society met for the first time last evening, the meeting being held at the home of Miss Maud Lafayette, 506 WestTwelfth street. Officers were electedas follows:President, Sati Brown.Vice president. Maud Lafayette. Secretary. Nellie McGarrv. Treasurer. Ruth Daehtn.Miss Mamie Moblo will have charge Of the next program and the nextmeeting will be held at the home of Miss Lena Covey on Webster street.There were about twenty girls present at last evening’s meeting and thefollowing excellent program wasgiven:Piano solo, Maud I-afayette. Recitation, Louise Mertes.Violin solo, Inez Moblo. accompanied by Maud i*afayette on the piano.Piano solo, Nettl Moblo.Piano solo, Margaret Huellnmntel.Piano duet, Effle Daehm and Len Covey.After the program a supper was served and the evening was very pleasantly spent.
