E., were arrested Friday and charged in the case. Wood stated that City Detectives Chuck Gorman and G. W. Roden made the arrests on Morgan and Hawkins in Birmingham Partain was arrested By by Roden and City Detective Dwight Pope at his home here. The three were being held at Cullman County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond apiece.Wood said that two of the suspects were identified from a picture lineup. The robberyoccurred when two white males entered the drug store dressed as females wearing wigs and makeup. The pair shoved a gun in the face of employee Carl Davis, ordered him to lie on the floor, and took $152 in cash and approximately $250 in controlled drugs from the shop. The two fled on foot from the scene.Wood stated that the arrests were the result of the combinedefforts of the entire Cullman Police Department and the Cullman County Sheriff’s Department. He told the TIMES that the teamwork involved in the effort was a deciding factor in the arrests.Partain and Hawkins have previous arrests for possession of marijuana on their records.
