ENMU Fire DamageFigure Not GivenPORTALES (Staff) - East* era New Mexico University’s DeBaca Hail has returned as much as possible to normal to* day after a fire in the dormitory forced approximately 50 women residents to seek shelterelsewhere Sunday night.According to early reports, all 289 residents of the dorm were evacuated. However, Jack Brown, ENMU New Bureau Editor, told the News-Journal to. day that only about 50 coeds were displaced from the dormitory.“The students were given the option to either remain in their rooms (after the fire was extinguished) or spend the night is Harding Hail nearby,’* said Brown.The fire reportedly broke out to toe second floor room of Jagkto Horn and Catba Wood— room $3.
