Students AidFamilies on Thanksgivingj Giving with their hands as well as with their hearts were ■ students of Austin high school who filled and distributed baskets of food to insure a happier ' —and more plentiful—Thanksgiving for many Austin familiesAs one of their service projects for the community, the senior Future Homemakers of ! America brought canned goods,' pastries and staple commodities such as potatoes, onions and butter for the basket which they filled. Money to purchase chickens was contributed by the girlsto complete the Thanksgivingdinner which they donated to theneedv familv of their choice.• *Project Chairman Mary Best was assisted by Norma Anderson and Barbara Jacobsen.Five baskets were filled for distribution by the Student council members. Naomi Davis served as chairman of the committee, while council members Dale Anderson, Nancy Flannery, Gene Lohman and Eileen Stahl also lent their services to prepare the baskets.
