A Prosperity DinnerWho could have thought of il bt^t Hazen Titus, the genial and public rpirited manager of the Terrace hotel. The date set for the event is December 14. Governor John W. Martin will probably bt here for the oeeasior\ and there willbe other prominent men in attend ance. The idea is to put emphasis on prosperity and make it the key note of tiu* season in Sarasota. That is as it should be. We are lieaded for prosperity. The starsin th* ir courses an* fighting for us. We have everything any city in Florida lias, only we have it inbetter form and greater abundancethan any of them. We have just finished speaking to a gentleman, who came here from New York and invested in Sarasota real estate. He remarked that no intelligent man could look over this city and its environments from the Terrace roof garden and not be impressed with the fact that Sarasota is destined to be the big city of the fiest coast, for we have here theframe work and all the conditionsfor a rapid and substantial develop raent.” It is because every one. viewing the city from the top of this hotel, gets a similar impression, that it is eminently fitting that this prosperity dinner shouldbe held under the auspices of the hostelry managed by Hazen Titus. This prosperity dinner Is going to add fame to Sarasota. It will mark us as a wide-a wake, progressive and up-and-going community. We must turn in and make ft the big, Outstanding, compelling event of t^e season. We must make an impact on the public imagination so strong that, when people think of prosperity, they will think of Sarasota. I
