Mr. Charles J. Stallard, of Kl Paso. Texas, spent the day here with Mr. and Mrs A. K. Ltsher, of north Tompkins street. Mr Stallard is the owner of the Travelers' hotel at El Paso as well as the Carmen hotel. Mr. Stallard says that section of thecountry is very prosperous, made so hy the presence of 80,000 troops. Mr. Stallard married Miss Hendricks, who made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Usher. She is enjoying the best of health.
