IT WILL BETHE BESTLOCAL LODGE OF ELKS WILL SHINE TOMORROW—DATE OF MINSTRELSHOWEverybody is on edge awaiting- thebig- street parade which will bo giventomorrow at noon by the local Elksbig minstrel company. This featureof their big show has, It is said, beenworked up until they have now something that wall far excell anything of the kind ever seen in Grund Rapids. Circus parades will not be in it, is th claim made by those who seem to be in a position to know. The Elks themselves are saying nothing, but ‘'just wait and see/'The big show will be pulled off at Daly's Wednesday and Thursday evenings and it wall be much different and much better and bigger than anything they have ever attempted before.During the past year many new members have been taken into the order here and among these are much new talent, which 1ms never before appeared in public in this city.The new stunts whirh will be pulled oil at this year’s show, will compare with anything ever seen here among the professionals and the songs to be rendered are all new, many of them having been written expressly for this occasion.The feature will, be held at and it is safe to say that everybody will be down to see it. In this mon-ster parade there will be a uniformed band of 25 pieces, a number of wild and ferocious animals and at least one hundred people.
