incident occurring the night of Sept. 27 and early morning of Sept. 28 in Southside tavern in Mon-ticello. The action was entered in Jones county district court Nov, 13.Richardson, who was owner of the tavern at the time, alleges that the defendants conspired together for the purpose of beating him up.He claims the two struck him in theface, causing injury, and beat him about the head and body.As a result, Richardson says he incurred suffering and medical expense. He asks $5,500 actual damages and $2,000 exemplary damages.In a second division of the suit, Richardson states that on Oct. 15 the defendants signed information charging the plaintiff with unlawfully pointing a gun even though the charge was false.He further states that he appeared Nov. 5 in front of Magistrate C. F. Shimanek, who dismissed the charge.Richardson claims that as the result of the action his reputation was damaged and that he also missed one-half day of work with the telephone company.He asks judgment of $2,000 actual damage and $1,000 exemplary damage. \The only other new civil actionclothing effects and is to be responsible for debts incurred during the marriage.The name of Ansel J. Chapman was inadvertently listed last week with reformatory inmates sentenced on escape. Chapman was the presiding judge and heard the cases. Adam A. Robbins was the name which should have been included.Only two new small claims actions were on file as of Monday. They were:Nov. 14 - D. A.
