Magoon. 83, who organized _ the Community church■ here in 1834. died Thursday in ' a Vancouver hospital,I Bum June 21, 1880, at Clear1 j Lake, Minn,, the Rev. Magoon iwas a charter member of the , American Legion post in Che*I haljs. a member of the American Legion post in Winloek, and a World War I Veterans mem-1 ber at Ryderwood.Following iris graduation from | Berkeley Baptist Divinity ' school, Berkeley, Calif., h i s first pastorate was at the First j I Baptist church, Chelialis. He. : also has held pastorates at'■ Ore., and Wenatchee. He was i : pastor of the Ryderwood Com-1 ‘ munity church until recently \when the Re%r. Dan King took j over.
