SQUARE CIRCLEThe mailer of holding a language week at PUS was discussed at the regular meeting of the Square Circle on November 16.It was suggested that the Square Circle sponsor a language week so that the students may become better acquainted with the four languages taught at -PUS; Spanish, Latin, French, and English. An assembly would be held during the week, featuring the studyof languages, it was suggested.The committee appointed to look into the possibility of such a language week, for which no date has been set, consists of Marcia Spero, Milli Jones, Nancy Powell, and Susan Wilder.A suggestion for a Square Circle project was made to the effect that the Square Circle obtain a 45-record player and amplifier to play music preceding the hasketball games.- This record player could also be used for sock hops. Dorcas Lewis, Betty Taylor, and Lou Clarke were appointed a committee to see about this.Devotions were read by Betsy Vaden, chaplain. Mrs. Judy Brown, the faculty advisor, was present, while ihe president, Pat Ruffin, presided. .
