* CRAB ORCHARD *************Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Slack and son, i Bobby Gay, spent Sunday with Mr. j and Mrs. Kenneth Lingle.Those who attended the all day quilting and basket dinner at Mrs. Miriam Robinson’s Thursday were Mrs. Don Hagler and children, Mrs. Mary Ether ton, Mrs. Melvin Lingle and Mrs. Kenneth Lingle.Miss Betty Lipe, Rollie Brewer, j Helen Brewer and Joe Haney enjoyed a hunting trip Saturday afternoon.Willie Doetch who works in Wood-river visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Doetch, over the weekend.Mr. and Mrs. Elery Crowell and sons, Roscoe and Harold, were in Herrin Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bill Qualls.The Rev. “Junior” Beck has taken Crab Orchard Church for the coming year’s services. He will preach on the fourth Saturday night and Sunday night of each month. Rev. Beck held our revival and made some fine talks.
