The lads and lassies of West and East Berkeley Ashby avenue and Lorin are preparing their gowns and clothes for the grand ball which is to be given at Sisterna hall tomorrow evening by the members of Beacon Engine Co., the proceeds of which will go toward purchasing a new bell for the, fire hoiiie. Every citizen should be interest jd in this and help the boys alortg, as : hey are always ready night or day to respond to an alarm of fire and to save life and property.
